At St Joseph’s we have so many students excelling in sporting activities both individually and as part of a team. If your child has made a great achievement in sporting events this year, please email me for a shoutout in the newsletter.
This week's shoutout goes to Olivia O in 6 Lime. Olivia has been selected for the under-14's Canberra United Team!! We wish Olivia all the best for this season.
Swimming Carnival:
The 2023 St Joseph’s Swimming Carnival will take place at Dickson Pool on Tuesday 7 March for children in Years 2-6. The carnival acts as a selection for the North Gungahlin District Swimming Carnival held later in the term. A permission note will be sent out via compass with all information and a link to fill out a form for each participant. Forms are due back before 28 February. If you would like to volunteer to help, please email me.
Foundation and Year One will participate in water fun activities during that day at school. More information to come from the Foundation and Year One teachers later in the term.
Cross Country Carnival:
The 2023 St Joseph Cross Country will take place at the O’Connor District Playing fields on 31 March from 11:40 am - 1:25 pm. More information to follow during the term. If you would like to volunteer to help, please email me.
