Spring is in the air and Joeys are taking sustainable action! These kids were caught taking initiative in making our school environment a clean one.

Year 5s are on duty to make sure drinks are refilled to suit our student needs. This way, we are creating minimal waste with big containers and avoiding individual juice boxes and, most importantly, straw waste!

Year 4 students work eagerly to sort out ineligible Lids 4 Kids.

“You can’t put the twistie yogurt caps in Lids 4 Kids,” said Jacob C. “And they aren't’ recyclable so you have to put them in landfilll.”

“Pop tops can’t go into Lids 4 Kids either. They also go into landfill,” said Troy.

Year 1s have created sustainability action plans, and this group has started up their

own Clean Up Crew. Some members are contributing to clean-ups 4 days a week!

Foundation has transferred their bean sprouts to the great outdoors. They are now responsible for watering and looking after their precious plants.
