Our School Challenge during the month of March is to walk 1km with 96 students. The significance of 96 students is because the Kokoda Track, an infamous campaign for Australian troops in WW2 was 96km long.

Over the month of March, we hope to have 96 students sign up for Walking Club during Thursday and Friday break times. If you would like to donate or find out more https://fundraise.soldieron.org.au/fundraisers/sallyadams/school-challenge

Our first March On Challenge had 39 registered students. Well done St Joseph’s.

In the lead up to Anzac Day, I have invited all St Joseph’s families to share a photo of their family members who have or who are serving. We would like to honour all these individuals who will never be forgotten at our Anzac Day service next term. Please send in a photo of your family member to my email. We will put together a slide show with the photos you send in to share at the Anzac Day service.

If you know a little bit about their story, please feel free to share a bio along with the picture. I will invite some interested students to speak about their veteran or current serving member at our service.

Bricks 4 Kidz Lego Afternoon

Duntroon Community Centre and Bricks 4 Kidz are joining together to offer children, ages 9 - 12 years old, an afternoon of Lego building and fun.

This is a DCC supervised event, allowing parents to drop the kids off for 3 hours of supervised activity while they go and have some well-deserved time for themselves.

A light afternoon tea will be provided and is included in the ticket price.

Bricks 4 Kidz instructors will be there to assist children in constructing Lego kits as well as offering plenty of time to free build and get creative with Lego.

This event is for DCC members only.

For booking follow this link: http://thq.fyi/se/4JB_KuU

If you are not a current DCC member, you can sign up online here, ttps://duntrooncommunitycentre.tidyhq.com/public/membership_levels

Membership is for the whole family and we offer a wide variety of programs and events for kids of all ages, parents, families and adults.
